Today, there was a great turnout for the Lunch & Learn at the Senior Center. Mayor Rapp, Chief Powell, and Detective Ryan Black talked about the dangers of scams - which come in many different formats.

Due to a mechanical malfunction, the wading pool will be closed until further notice. Someone is coming today to help find a solution. We will post when the wading pool is open. Thank you for your understanding.

There will be a City of Vienna Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Vienna Community Building, 1301 34th Street, Vienna. The topic will be the the location of the new Vienna elementary school.

NOTICE:

THE VIENNA SENIOR CENTER WILL BE CLOSED TUESDAY, JULY 9 FOR MAINTENANCE.

The Vienna City Building will be closed Thursday, July 4th, and Friday, July 5th for the 4th of July holiday.

We will reopen Monday, July 8, 2024 for regular business hours, 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Thank you to Vienna Public Works Department for getting the luminaries ready for tonight. And thank you to all the volunteers and the Vienna Police Department for lighting Grand Central Avenue Christmas Eve! Merry Christmas!

2023 Wreaths Across America ceremony at the Neale-Cook Cemetery, Vienna, WV. Thank you to the Marine Corp League, Detachment 1087 that served as our Color Guard, and the American Legion Post 15 that was the Honor Guard.
Vienna Mayor, Randy Rapp read aloud the names of all veterans in this cemetery that served in 5 wars: The Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War.

May we always be thankful to all Veterans of all wars, past, present, and future.

Congratulations Raymond Myers! Last evening Mayor Rapp awarded Raymond the Hometown Hero award at the 2023 Vienna Volunteer Fire Department's Christmas dinner. Raymond has worked for the City of Vienna for over 43 years - working unselfishly for both Vienna Fire and Police Departments.
