I love these little guys! I've come up with a ton of variations, including this axolotl inspired baby and a gingerbread version for the holidays ( it's always closer than you think!) The pattern is very close to testing phase!

Exciting news!

I am finally working on setting up an online shop with Mosaic by goimagine!

After considering a few options, I found their services and mission to be exactly what I have been looking for. Not only will it be reasonable and affordable for me but they also donate their own profits to children's charities and I think that is amazing!

Release the Kraken...

I fell in love with this cameo the moment I saw it. It took me back to my Renaissance Faire days when we would spend days with a trunk full of costumes and a sewing machine preparing for the first day of Faire.

Antiqued brass and freshwater pearls.

From Mother Nature's bead shop. (Assateague Island where the wild ponies roam). Not painted or dyed or manufactured, only tumbled by the waves and sand.

It wants to be something...

I had the pleasure of restringing this gorgeous necklace for a friend. It is moonstone, garnet, and silver. (The freshwater pearl and citrine in the second pic is up next!) It was missing a couple of beads from the break, so I added a few to even out both sides. I added a new clasp but I tried to keep it as close to the original as possible. I am very happy with the outcome it was a beautiful piece to begin with so I hope I did it justice!

This one was a bit challenging but mostly because it is hard to get a cuddly critter who is all wing and feather to look majestic in the end. What is important is that my biggest fan in Florida is happy with her new friend.

"What colors do you want?" I asked her.

"Blue," she said, "because it is the hottest fire."

This one is the give away, right??
