Today, we got started on grading the backyard, just shifting some dirt around and smoothing things out. It's been a bit of a workout, but it's satisfying to see the progress and imagine how nice it'll be when it's all leveled, equipped with a designated water retention area, and ready for some fresh flower beds. Looking forward to enjoying the results of our labor in the days to come!

So, yesterday we kicked off this cool little project - building some wooden steps to a backyard. It's been a fun 2 days, cutting planks, screwing things together, and making this outdoor space in Crystal Lake look snazzy. Can't wait to chill on those steps and take a breather once we're done!
