BASIC Dance & Fitness

I cannot wait to teach this class. I am so excited to bring the regency style of ballroom dancing to the masses. How fun to learn the Waltz and Tango Regency style dance and also the Quadrille and Scotch Reel. Partner is required but anyone can lead or follow so just bring a friend. Then you can join us and use these dances at the Vargo's Regency Ball on September 7th. It will be a wonderful evening filled with all the different social dances including new Regency dances. Come prepared to have an awesome time!

We sadly say goodbye to one of our favorite students, John Segreti. His love of dance, love of his family and his wicked sense of humor were just a few of the things we loved about him. Our love and condolences go out to his wife Jeanne and their beautiful family. We will sorely miss him.

Happy New Year. We have a spectacular line up of lessons for 2024, starting with Josh Torres teaching Foxtrot on January 13. The lesson starts at 7:30 and is followed by general ballroom dancing until 10:30. The lesson covers the basics and a pattern to add to your repertoire.
So come in from the cold and join us for fun and a little exercise. Every level of dancer is welcome. There is room for all, and bring your friends.
Fees: $10 members; $15 guests; $20 membership
If you renew or join, that evening's dance is complimentary.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this last Saturday at our event in Naperville. We have not been out that way to teach in quite sometime. It was so wonderful to see and dance with our friends and students that we had not seen in a while. It filled our hearts with joy to see them again. Also, we want to thank the owners of I Just Wanna Dance Studio, Linda and Zorana for allowing us to host our party at their beautiful new location. The Floor is to die for and after all that dancing our feet didn't even hurt! If you weren't able to join us and you want to check out the studio, this coming Saturday is their open house. Beginner classes during the day, and a showcase and dance in the evening. Josh will be the DJ for the evening dance. This is a free event. So come on out and check out the studio and say hi to Josh!

After the lesson we dance until 10:30 to an assortment of favorite ballroom music; Smooth, Latin, Rhythm and an occasional line dance. All levels of dancers are welcome.

If you knew Helen, then you knew how much she loved dance. She was a wonderful dancer and a wonderful woman. We met her back in 2013 when we started teaching at Ballroom City. She was always there to help the teachers out when we needed her. With her beautiful smile and her quick wit she made the most beginner dancers feel comfortable and welcome at her beloved studio. She was a true friend to many and always went out of her way to make new friends. We dearly miss her and would like to invite you to join us to help celebrate her life with us and some of her dear friends.
