Last weekend our team participated in the Tree Lighting ceremony hosted by the City of Orange. It was an amazing event and we interacted with hundreds of curious and excited people who wanted to learn more about our demo bot and the FIRST program. We would like to thank the Orange community for hosting this event and providing us with a wonderful opportunity to educate aspiring individuals and spread the FIRST program.
Over the past few weeks, our team has been hard at work making improvements for the 2024 season. We added carpet tiles to our entire room so we could have a place to test our robot(click this link to know about our process), and we stapled fun FRC sayings to the walls of our room. We've also been conducting many training sessions for our newer students, including CAD and Design training. Our team is excited for the 2024 season and we will continue to get our team in shape for kickoff on January 6th!
4322 is hosting our first annual virtual Engineering Career Inspiration Day in collaboration with Girl Scouts of Orange County and Society of Women Engineers Orange County for high school girl looking to learn more about the various fields of engineering.
This Wednesday, a representative from the Gene Haas Foundation came to our shop and gave us a check for $2,500! Thank you for supporting our team and the wider FRC community towards the mission of developing the future generation of STEM engineers.
This Thursday, our team presented to our long time sponsor, StayLinked. We gave a presentation of this year’s game and events our team attended and also did a demo of our robot. StayLinked has been one of our sponsors since our team was founded in 2012. Their continuous support of our team allowed us to upgrade to swerve drive for the 2022 season and 12 motor swerve for the 2023 off-season. StayLinked’s generous donation has allowed our team to teach our students STEM skills for over a decade. Thank you StayLinked!
