The Honorable Hugo Loza retired today after 29 years of service at the Tulare County Juvenile Court. Dozens of judges, attorneys, court staff and well wishers were on hand to celebrate his entry into retired life. He had some very nice things to say about the CASA teams who have worked with him through the years. Congratulations and best of luck!

Thank You For Making 2023 A Great Year!

Happy, Happy Birthday to Judge Hugo Loza who always makes CASA feel at home in the courtroom! We hope it's his best yet, even though he declined to give us his age. We'll say 39 and call it good!

Happy Birthday to Pierre Gaston, a volunteer advocate for more than 20 years, who now focuses on writing educational advocacy reports for the kids whose cases CASA oversees. Even on his birthday, he's hard at work here in the CASA office. He turned 91 today, can you believe it? What an inspiration!

Training starts January 18th!
