We will be hosting our Back to School Night tomorrow evening from 5:30-6:30 p.m. If you are a parent of a 6th grade student please join us at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow for some important information from our principal, Dr. Joyner.

Good Morning Comet Families!

Starting today, Cottonwood Creek has implemented a new visitor management system called Raptor.

In order to protect all students, staff and visitors on campus we will be requiring a Driver's License or State ID card for all visitors that come on campus during normal school hours.

A check-in/check-out kiosk has been set up in the front office that will create a visitor's badge for all visitors. This badge must be worn at all times while on campus. This system has been implemented at other school sites across VUSD as well.

Our office staff members have been trained on this new system and are happy to help all visitors!

Open House & Tricky Tray are today from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

September 2022-What’s on for this month?

• September 5th-No School: NO SCHOOL in observance of Labor Day.

● September 13th- Picture Day: Get your smiles ready because picture day will be September 13th.

● September 16th- Kona Ice: Kona Ice will be on our campus to sell their yummy shaved ice to staff and students from 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Students will be able to buy their Kona Ice after having lunch at their lunch recess.

● September 19th- Minimum Day: Due to a staff development day, all students will be dismissed at 12:35 p.m.

● September 26th-SOAR Awards: SOAR awards for grades 4th-6th will start at 8:10 a.m. Your student’s teacher will notify you if your student will be receiving an award.

● September 27th-SOAR Awards: SOAR awards for TK-Kinder-3rd grade. They will start at 8:10 a.m. Your student’s teacher will notify you if your student will be receiving an award.

We have many many coat/jackets/sweaters that will be out every morning and every afternoon to claim any lost items.

Any unclaimed items will be donated to the needy after the school year has been completed. If your student is missing any items, please take the time to come by and look through all that we have and claim your missing item.
