Come on out to the LoneStar Expo center at the Montgomery county Fairgrounds for an exciting show. Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5 pm. I’ll be in the bladesports cutting competition Sunday at 11am and could use some encouragement.

I might actually get these done. Finally got through 120 grit hand sanding on 96” of AEB-L.

Let the fun begin! I’m participating in the knifetalk podcast It’s my first go using pattern welded stainless steel. The contest requires making a kitchen utensil. The blank is 1/8 x 1-3/8 x 8 so a bit small for a typical chefs knife. What should I make? What kind of handle?

Built a new anvil stand today. It’s a little big for my 70 lb TFS anvil but it should be a big improvement over the one in the background.
