The CDC has moved the Hawaii COVID-19 Community Level from green (LOW COVID level) to yellow (MEDIUM COVID level). 🟢➡️🟡

CDC looks at the combination of three metrics — new COVID-19 admissions per 100,000 population in the past 7 days, the percent of staffed inpatient beds occupied by COVID-19 patients, and total new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population in the past 7 days — to determine the COVID-19 community level.

You can keep track of Hawaii's COVID-19 Community Level at HawaiiCOVID19.com with the COVID-19 County Check Tool.

Please keep up-to-date on your vaccinations and stay home and get tested when sick. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask.

What a day. We have suddenly gone from six assistants to THREE today. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Per the CDC, hospitals and health clinics will still mask. We will still require properly fitted masks on all- no chin hammocks, no valved masks, no gaiters, no bandanas. We have extra if needed. Thank you for your support! Stay safe!

Today’s the day! The State's indoor mask mandate is officially over but whether you keep wearing one is completely up to you. Please be courteous to others – especially our kupuna who may have underlying conditions.

If you are sick, don't wait. Isolate! If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or you test positive for COVID-19, isolate for at least 5 days.

If you had symptoms, you may end isolation after all of these conditions have been met:
- 5 full days of isolation have passed.
- You have been fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medication).
- Your symptoms are improving.

If you tested positive for COVID-19 but did not experience symptoms, you may end isolation after at least 5 full days have passed since your positive test.

If you were severely ill with COVID-19, you should isolate for at least 10 days and consult with your doctor before ending isolation.
