I think I should have been this when I was a kid.

A little plein air study.

Started an online landscape painting course. Assignment 1.

Sunflower #2. I love painting at the dining table. The dogs all find something to chew, and lay around my feet. Cora is usually in the small round dog bed on one of the chairs so she can see me almost eye-to-eye. Erik lays with his head in just the right spot to be stepped on. Stoli loves to lay between my feet.

This painting is pastel on a 6x6" sanded paper. It's under glass and ready to be put into a frame of your choosing.

I feel autumn coming on.

Poppy’s are done, but I’m not ready to stop! I needed a little break, and I’ve been yearning to paint in pastel. This little one is 2.5” x 3.5” in size on oil painting paper.

Just found this unfinished painting at the back of a stack in my home studio. I’m not sure about it, should I finish it?

Oh wow! The odor is delightful. I wonder if I could do it justice as a painting?

Pink yarrow in a blue pot. This pot was sitting outside my vets office. It stopped me in my tracks and I had to take a photograph of it.
