When you haven’t seen your maker bestsie in months because of life, kids, work, sickness…. and the list goes on!
I’d say this past weeks crafternoon with my girl was just what I needed! 😊🥰

It’s been a minute! 🤪
But I’m back making stuff and co-creating with my bestie! Can’t wait to share all the other things we are up to, but for now I’ve already got fall and winter in my mind…. To early?!? I think not 😂🧣
Here’s some new upcycled infinity scarves we’ve been making 😊

Finally getting back into our groove after I took quite a bit of time away after baby #4! Can’t wait for y’all to see!

Upcycled Dusters coming soon. They are🔥🔥🔥
We have about 20 and I have been working on.

What goes into our clothing?

-First we gather loads of gently used/clearance items
-Sort the items for quality, flaws and stains
-Items sent to Amy
-Some become rags, some get donated, some need dye...patches...upgraded...scarves
-Sort the items by color combos, theme, weight
-Cut off tags, pockets, buttons, collars, zippers to be used elsewhere or tossed
-Cut off sleeves and legs
-Anything that can be used for Upcycled Infinity Scarves gets put in a pile and cut into 9×15s
-Design
-Cut
-Pinned
-Items go back to Becca for stitches and
-Sewn
-So much love goes into our work
-Washed, Dried, Ironed
-Additions get added by us both: distressed, reverse dye, dye, paint, patches, pockets
-Then finished items go back to Amy
-Airing out and infused intentions
-Check for flaws
- We take Photos
-Make Tags
-Added to FB for the write-up when ready to sell on
-Pop-Up Markets, in my office

Upcycled clothing comin at ya! 🥰❤️✌🏻

Seeing double… it’s hard to get anything done with only one hand and most of December and January has felt like this 🤪
But at the end of the day my heart is always fuller than hands! 😊🥰

And apparently the carrier still has the same affect on Hallsie as it did when she was a baby and would fight sleep.

I’ve been wanting to make a quilt jacket for almost a year now! I saw it first on stories of her and her girls out shopping(also don’t want to sound like a creeper since I don’t actually know her in person, but I admire her parenting, realness, and her fun style— follow her account and you’ll know exactly what I mean 😉).
Also watching kill it (she’s literally on 🔥) making hers really had me inspired to take time to make something for myself… which is not something I’m not always good at making time for.

But here’s to hoping I’ll do a lot more of it this year because it was so fun! 😁🥰❤️🤩
And haha I’m no model, but my oldest did a good job playing photographer today!

Our LAST PopUp Shop for the year!!! Only fitting we are having it (the best Chiro on the planet btw) where my bestie and I met 11+ years ago! ☺️❤️

Since it looks a little chilly we will be setting up shop in Amy’s massage room in the back. We may move outside once it warms up.

We have a crazy weekend with Hubbs work and holiday festivities, but 🤞🏻 I get this beaut and the rest of my hand crocheted scarves up on my etsy by the end of the weekend! 😬

Our pop-up over the weekend may have been freezing 🥶 to say the least, but y’all look how cute my husband is…

We’ve been talking on and off about an idea for what to do with his left over concrete when he has an over pour doing custom concrete work… And this is what we came up with! ❤️
NO more waste and room for plants 🪴

Little Boo Peep and her Sheep had the best Halloween! I enjoyed making their costumes sooo much this year that I may have to open up custom costume orders for next year 🤪

Our next pop up is this Saturday! Drop it like it’s hot at hot yoga and then enjoy a quick shop! 😄❤️
