Walking in a light drizzle on a warm day after a week of cold and heavy snow. Much to my surprise and pleasure there were birds singing. Further on the sound of multiple streams created by the snow melt. All very lovely. On the return trip a pair of crows communicating at the top of the bare trees. As I come through the door at home, I hear my wife practicing singing Mahler’s Second. What a beautiful afternoon!
