This rain has placed a damper on a few active jobs, so we’ll have some availability to provide some free estimates 😎

Due to this being an older home, it was time to change out the dilapidated siding. The material was too far gone / rotten to save, therefore, we’ll be installing all new Hardie Board.

While in the demo phase, we were able to locate an active leak within the old galvanized plumbing. After repairing the lines, reconfiguring some framing & replacing the sheathing, we’re ready to install 😎. Stay tuned for more progress photos!!

First, we would like to take a moment to thank all of our amazing followers for the likes , shares, and the constant flow of support !! Without your support, we DEFINITELY wouldn’t be where we are today !!

From the start of the business, we’ve been a Home Renovation Company, however, the Louisiana Contractors Law changed on August 1st. Having the new laws in place, that would now place a damper on the work that we were legally able to perform , the decision was made to further our businesses potential.

Having just the Home Renovation License, all while having large scale jobs on the books, I made the decision to take the Louisiana Residential Contractor’s Exam, solely in hopes of keeping our customers happy / taken care of. Well, on the 1st attempt, we passed !!

With all of this said, we will be changing the business name to LIPSCOMB CONSTRUCTION, LLC. This was the name of my family’s Home building company back in Natchez, Ms. It’s an EXTREME HONOR to be able to carry on the name ❤️. Over three Generations of home builders carried this name & I’ll now be the fourth !!!!

From Port Allen to Denham Springs, we’ve got you covered 😎😎

These are two separate bathroom remodels that we started today. One will be converted into a custom ( Marble ) shower. Also, we moved the toilet drain over a few feet to allow more room between the vanity/ shower. Lastly, we closed off access from a bedroom, via framing the rough opening in.

The second will be a tub swap, with subway tile running to the ceiling. We also demoed an interior door & added a pocket door to gain more room within the guest bath.

We know It seems like a lot of work, but being blessed with AMAZING customers ALWAYS makes it worth it 😎. Also, we have THE BEST crews !!!! PLEASE give us a chance at any of your construction needs !! Family owned & operated, Licensed & Insured.

This job was a fun one, but very special at the same time !!!! The AMAZING homeowners reached out to us wanting a bathroom remodel, and come to find out, it was my wife’s childhood home ( Highschool years ) !!!

The bathroom was crammed & lacked the desires of the new homeowners. Sooooo, we moved the toilet (drain) a few feet, framed a few walls, added up to date canned lighting, repaired a lot of Sheetrock , built a custom shower & installed some travertine floors ❤️❤️.

Out with the old & in with the new ❤️. We demolished the old 20x53 and constructed a new 16x20. What a beauty she’s turning out to be !!!!

We will be removing an old exterior door , replacing some siding & painting tomorrow.

This customer reached out to us after her roofed was recently replaced. She needed soffit on both gable ends, so we managed to pull off of a big job to knock this out for her in a day.

This home was built in the early 80’s and the exterior has remained all original !!! The homeowners decided they wanted a facelift. New paint all around for the siding , facia , soffit , doors & shutters. We also replaced all the support post.

And because they’re soooo awesome to us, we demoed the small three foot porch & built them a 12x14 deck ❤️❤️.

Y’all help me wish the BACKBONE of our company a HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂🎊🎈. We definitely couldn’t function without her ❤️

I can say, without being bias, that this home turned out GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!! We had a few change orders, time delays with custom built cabinets / plumbing , but it was soooooooo worth the wait ❤️
