My family and I are originally from Baton Rouge ⚜️ having moved to Watson back in 2016.

When I’m not at the salon, I love to catch up on my shows on Netflix🎬, listen to true crime podcasts🎧, and, if the weather is great, put my kayak in the water 🛶.

I graduated from Walker High School in 2019 and then from Aveda in September of 2021! 🤍

J. Lene’ has been my home away from home ever since! My goal was and is to share my passion for the beauty industry by providing customized services with high quality products in the town that I love, while also establishing meaningful relationships with anyone who sits in my chair or walks through the door. J. Lene’ has provided the opportunity for me to do just that. 🙌🏼☺️

Ever since I was little I’ve always loved to create things (arts, crafts, makeup & hair). Im so blessed to have so many amazing canvases to work on! 👩🏼‍🎨✨ My favorite services are extensions and lived in color, but my absolute favorite thing is seeing my clients leaving with a smile on their face! 😊

When I’m not glammin’ ya’ll up you’ll find me somewhere in the mud or shopping! 😜 I loveee to be outside whether that’s off-roading, fishing, beachin’ or watching/helping my man work on things! Equal parts boujee and backwoods 😂😉😛🥳! Spending time with my family and friends is so important to me and I definitely enjoy hosting any chance that I get. 😊

Conner and I have been together for 4 years!
We moved a little further south to Port Vincent about 2 years ago… couldn’t go too too far! 🫶🏼 We have 2 pups ( Dolly and Max ) 🐾🩵

I’ve been a licensed esthetician since 2019 but I’ve always had a passion for the beauty industry. I was that girl who would watch makeup tutorials on YouTube 24/7! 🤣 (Iykyk) I graduated from Aveda Institute of Hammond and have been at J. Lene since opening day. 💘

I’m originally from Morgan City but Walker is my forever home. I moved to Baton Rouge for school and met my husband, John. I knew he was the one when he told me he loves to cook. 😉 We’ve been together for 6 years and have built a beautiful life so far. Our son, Theodore, is almost 2 and has us wrapped around his fingers.

When I’m not at J. Lene I enjoy gardening, traveling, playing outside with my boys or walking the aisles of target.

I truly enjoy my career and the connections Ive made with my clients. J. Lene is a second home for me and I hope you feel the same when visiting! 🫶🏼

OG stylist at J. Lene’ Salon & Spa.
I’ve been here since the doors opened in 2020, and slingin hair next to Mrs. J. Lene’ herself since 2014. Fun fact: we’ve been pretty tight since freshman year in high school.

I’ve been behind the chair for 11 years, graduating from Denham Springs Beauty College in 2013. The beauty industry has had my heart since I was a small child. I grew up in my grandmother’s “beauty shop” & back then it was THE PLACE to be!

I truly love every aspect of my job. It is so special to be able to make people feel better not only on the outside, but on the inside as well. Being a sort of therapist while “playing with hair” all day makes me the happiest! My favorite services to offer are blonding & extensions.

I was born and raised right here in Walker, LA.
I’ve lived here all of my life. Definition of a small town girl with BIG hopes & dreams ✨

My husband, Clay, and I got married February of 2022! We met in Kindergarten & he was my first crush ever 🫶🏻 We reconnected about 6 years ago when he sat in my chair for a haircut! After a few appointments he finally asked me out on a date and we’ve been together ever since.

This past October we welcomed our son Mack into the world. He is truly an angel & has brought so much joy to our lives. If you have seen or heard from me since October you know I’m

I’m the most proud to be his Mama.

When I’m not at work I love to enjoy a day on the water! I love cooking, hanging with my fam, self care, shopping, my pups & all of my mini farm animals.

To me, being at J. Lene’ is truly a salon experience like no other. You get that uptown luxury experience mixed in with a laid back, cozy vibe. I love the atmosphere and work family we have created. I feel I have truly been able to reach my potential here as a stylist. Stay tuned because we just keep getting better & better every year.

I’m typically the first face you see when you walk in our doors. 💗

J. Lene’ is actually my name and middle name. Jessica Lene’.

I was born and raised here in Walker, La.
Graduated Aveda Institute Baton Rouge in 2012, and have been behind the chair ever since.
My type A personality is easy to spot. I love my job and I work hard. Id like to think I am as witty as I’m told.

My husband Mark and I have been married 10 years this October. He is head of maintenance here at J. Lene’ (it’s a one man crew 💀) . We have two children Sofia (8) and Rayland (5).
I am the proudest momma and wife there ever was 🥰.

Traveling, shopping and cooking are my favorite ways to spend my time.

When I set out to open J. Lene’ Salon and Spa, I wasn’t expecting the blessing that God unfolded for me.
My vision was to meet uptown style with small town atmosphere. I would say my crew and I nailed it.

My passion for good products, excellent service and personable staff is what drives the business.

The people this place has brought into my life is something I will forever be grateful for. The community showing up everyday to support me and a dream is outstanding.
We love our clients that is undeniable.

As far as my girls, each one of them have a part in bringing J. Lene’ to life. I have a solid girl gang here and you can feel the commitment and dedication they have to their own careers when you step through our doors.

We have set, achieved and overcome goals as a team in these last four years that are nothing short of impressive. I truly can’t believe what we have here.
