When an issue occurs, the client or client’s family and my self can make that decision immediately and together without having to call the office, then the office may call the administrator, then the administrator may have to call the nurse, etc. No time is wasted in what could be a critical moment as well as the stress that does occur at these moments. Another advantage to having a private caregiver is you always know who is going to be in your home that day, week or month. There is no “training” yet another caregiver that’s new for that day. That can be and usually is exhausting for the client and not necessary.
