One of my take aways living trans is the ability understand how euphoric one feels when you honor their identity by giving them a look that helps convey that. I remember my first time cutting Xen. She was so scared! As she watched her hair fall to the ground I could see her struggle with giving herself over to me. Allowing me to conjure her truth with my magic. At the end she cried because she never knew she could feel that way. I now know my purpose and the direction I am taking my salon. I thought we were done. This is the beginning of the next chapter.
