Incredibly grateful! Mika & I have had the honor of training for Galderma for over 15 years ! Let me tell you , it’s been a pleasure ! It has only gotten better over the years. They are innovative, and train their trainers to be safe, effective, while achieving great treatment outcomes . I began my career in Aesthetics in 2004 right out of nursing school . Without much knowledge about where I wanted to go with my career path , I knew I loved what I was doing . It’s almost as if I was drawn to this career . We did it ! We just taught a cadaver training class! When you love what you do …. it hardly feels like work. …………………………………………………………………….I began working with Mika Hill R.N.] in 2004, I had just graduated nursing school and was working at John Muir medical Center in Walnut Creek as an Oncology Nurse. I randomly decided to pick up a side gig at a local med spa where I was trained on everything med spa my Mika Hill . This unexpected decision set the course of the rest of my life. I soon decided to leave the hospital for a full time career in aesthetics. So many things have come about because of that one decision. I’m so grateful to this woman who I can call my mentor, my friend, and pretty much my family . Twenty years later and there isn’t any other person who I could trust as much as I trust this one . Happy Saturday everyone. Here’s one of my all-time favorite patients. With her permission to post I’m sharing a subtle but beautiful change. We used PDO threads to “Lift “ the corners of her mouth . It’s a mid-face enhancement mainly which has given her an overall more lifted and heart-shape look. I will most likely bring her back for a Sculptra series and possibly more PDO lifting in about eight months. 😍

Reflecting on what we’ve built over the years has me feeling so grateful So grateful to all the mentors i’ve had over the past 19 years. You have all tought me so much. A special thank you to who was my very first mentor. I’m So happy i met you all those years ago and we remained friends! Thank you for guiding me , trusting me, and being my partner in everything. I also want to thank all of the mentees who have allowed us to teach them and guide them through their learning processes. It’s so rewarding to be able to pass down what we have learned to eager nurses who are entering this field. Aesthetics is a lot different now than it was 19 years ago. I’ll tell you I didn’t quite have the same support from my colleagues switching careers. looking back now I will never quite understand how I got here, but i’m so grateful i’m here ! I couldn’t see myself doing anything else today. let what drives you guide you ♥️🙏
