Please join us as we honor and thank Claudia for her twenty-three years of teaching with PALS. We would like to observe this important event with a school celebration. The PALS teachers will provide beverages. We ask that you bring finger foods or a plate of cookies to share.

If you have a photo of your child or a special memory with Claudia, please bring it so that you can add it to a special memory book for her commemorating our sense of community which has been so special.

Come to PALS Parents Night!
A goal of our program is to create a sense of community in and outside of the classroom. PALS Parents Night is a quarterly gathering to keep parents up to date on PALS information and to create a social event for parents only.

Reminder: Spring MAGIC starts tomorrow- don’t forget to wear your MAGIC T-shirts!

PALS Spring MAGIC begins next Friday! For three Fridays, your children will be enjoying different children's books about food and then making that food in the classroom with their MAGIC family. We need volunteers to make this event happen - please contact Amanda Zibners Naprawa for signup details.

MAGIC runs from approximately 10-11:15am on Friday March 16, 23, 30.

Parkmead Parent Group Meeting, Tomorrow (Tuesday) @ 7 pm in MPR
Parkmead Parent Groups' forum Tuesday Night regarding merging the Parkmead parent-teacher groups. All parents are encouraged to attend this very important meeting where the history of the Parkmead parent groups will be reviewed as well as a time to answer questions regarding the merging of our three parent groups into one.

Come see our new math program, Bridges in Mathematics and Dreambox learning, in action! This is a parent and child event, by grade span. Students and Parents will participate in a Number Corner activity, then get down to playing Work Places games. PALS WINTER MAGIC this Friday! Please contact Kristina Bao-Paluck if you are available to help out in the classroom on Friday from 10:00am - 11:15am for some fun winter festivities and crafts!

Host An Auction Party!

Do you have a great idea for a Parent Party, Kids-Only Party, Family Party, or Activity that could help raise money for our kids and help make this year’s school auction a smashing success?!? We are looking for some fun and energetic parents to host parties for a fabulous cause. Families often work together at hosting these events and they are generally held between April-December.

If you are interested or want more details or inspiration, please contact one of your parent party coordinators: Christina Linezo, Jen Brush, or Tamara Hostetler.
