For the Third time our governor has SHUT DOWN our INDUSTRY once again!
60% of all of salons in California have already been closed down for good which is heartbreaking.
I've had many friends and clients ask how to help my small business and I'm listing some ways.
1. Buy salon retail from the actual salon than online (I'll be in the salon Wednesdays 11:30am-2pm)
2. Buy gift certificates for future visits
3. Through demand I set a gofundme where all donations will go towards ongoing rent, utilities, and maintenance.

The Grove Salon will be temporarily closing in compliance with the recent state mandate regarding indoor business and activities.

Our booking tool will be temporarily paused in order to reserve the space we have left for those of you who have missed an appointment during the closure.

Due to our salon space being small to maintain 6ft apart we added glass dividers between stations and shampoo area.

We will keep a limited amount of people in the shop. No more than 12 people.

Stylists and guests will be wearing Masks at all times. Temperature check when walking in before service is mandatory. We will also advise use of sanitizing hand spray before service starts.

Any question and concerns feel free to msg us.

We are requiring all guests to wear face masks. If you forget face masks we have disposable ones. Services will not be performed if guest refuses to wear face mask. We will have the right to refuse service if this occurs. Thank you.

We will currently not be accepting cash as payments. Please ask your stylist if they are accepting cash tips.

We finally have the green light from the county to reopen Wednesday, June 17th! We can’t wait to serve you again so please bear with us as we contact all of our guests.

Here’s a look at our plan to getting you back in the salon as soon as possible. We are going to begin the process of rescheduling missed appointments during the shelter in place. As you can imagine, this will be a huge task for our team to accommodate all of our guests.
If you had an appointment on our schedule during the time we were closed you will be automatically be called for rescheduling. Guests that did not have appointments during the closure period will be added to our wait list to be contacted next so please leave your phone number and name.

To ensure our public that we are planning good safety measures for our salon. Our team has trained in reopening Certifications for Health and Public Safety Recommendations for the reopening of the Professional Beauty Industry. Each employee will stay up-to-date on proper cleaning and disinfection practices for safety of ourselves and our clients. Sorry, we cannot offer at-home highlights or bleach touch ups kits. -Color kit cost $30 -Refills afterward $15-$20 depends on how much color is poured.
