Good morning, we’d like to introduce you to Mike LaCava, one of our 2024 Boston Marathon® Runners!​​​​​​​​​

"Having already run this prestigious race twice, I was ready to take a break this year. Unfortunately, pediatric cancer doesn‘t take breaks and this year we are fighting and running for our little buddy, Declan Lyons. I'm sure many of you reading this are very familiar with Declan, his story, and his family. Declan is a 3-year-old boy who’s been fighting medulloblastoma for the past 6 months. This is one of the rarest forms of cancer a child can get. I've had the privilege of knowing his family for over 30 years, they are Waltham people through and through. They need to know they're not going through this alone, that we're here to help any way we can. Helping families like Declan's is what One Mission does."
