Friends and Neighbors: Libraries are vitally IMPORTANT.
The Town of Union Vale, New York has a charter and operates a - thus far - tiny library, located in the heart of Tymor Park.
There has been a campaign afoot to terrify the residents of Union Vale into voting NO - a vote against funding the Library. I have researched this subject, met with the Board, looked at the proposed budget and weighed both sides. That said, I am confident that having a Library in this community is a MAJOR PLUS and WILL NOT RAISE TAXES. Before you decide on which way to vote, inform yourself to the ACTUAL facts and consider voting YES. Thank you.
