• Location: Depending on your type of work, you will probably need to spend quite some time in your home office. An ideal location would be a spacey room for the type of work you’re doing. Don’t forget about privacy! Try to position your home office in a quiet area away from distractions.

• Furniture: The most important thing you need to think about in your home office is your desk and chair. While the furniture should be chosen according to the theme and style of the room, you should never sacrifice looks for comfort. You will probably be spending most of your time on the chair and desk in your office. Your desk should fit your PC and your chair should be comfortable enough for you to sit on for hours on end.

• Lighting: If possible, your home office should preferably have access to natural lighting. It’s important to position your computer screen facing the window or in a position where your vision wouldn’t be affected by the light. Don’t forget your indoor lighting though! Modern home offices don’t have to have dull standard office lighting. Depending on the style of the room you can go for any lamp that goes with the room.

• Color: Great news! Your home office doesn’t have to be the old fashioned beige color. The color of your walls can be as bright as you like or as calming and pastel as you want. Of course, you should still keep in mind the style of the room plays a big part when choosing the colors. For example: Minimal style rooms usually have whites, creams and pastels.

• Tech Storage: Stay away from a cluttered home office! That includes your tech. Consider wireless options for your routers, printers, mouse, and other tech. If there are any wires, gather them all up in a wire tamer. In order to minimize clutter, take into consideration storage areas for your printer, scanner, and other bulky items that you might use on occasion.

• Personalization: Just be yourself! When it comes to your personal home office, you need to be in a comfortable and happy space in order to get your productivity going. You can adjust the style of your home office by changing up the colors and décor of the space.

This is a perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated architect to potentially become a core member of this tight-knit team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on residential and commercial projects and be comfortable working as part of a small team; they will be highly creative and the ability to design photo-realistic renders. This is a full-time remote position. Although we might start commuting to the office located in Beirut once a week for meetings in the future.

Role & Responsibilities:

-Create technical drawings for construction
-Produce high-quality design deliverables, including photo-realistic renders and video walkthrough
-Develop relationships with clients, suppliers and external partners
-Proactively communicate risks and opportunities regarding constructability, cost, quality, and schedule concerns to CBEIR team members
-Co-ordinate all elements of FF&E including selection, specification, ordering and installation

Key requirements:

-Previous experience in Architecture and/or interior design
-Exceptional attention to detail
-Proficient in 3D Modeling Programs: Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, VRay..
-Since this is a remote job, we require you to have your own PC that can handle the programs
-Able to communicate effectively at all levels
