Initially this “Wild One” set up included inflatable animals. Because I got my hands on some gorgeous safari animals and it was a windy day I decided to just bring them all and see what the client wanted to go with. This is the result! What do you think? Were the stuffed animals an upgrade?

I’ve always been a sucker for an “offbeat” wedding theme 😉 This was a blast. I went in there with three pool noodles, a bunch of purple flowers, several kinds of greenery garlands, some zip ties, balloons, and a metal hoop (give or take a few supplies) and I went wild. I wanted it to look like an overgrown forest when I got done with it, and I think I succeeded in bringing that vision to life!

The focal point was all me — but the rest of this gorgeous wedding was decorated by the family and the venue … and oh my goodness was it ever GORGEOUS. Beautiful barn wood, moody tones, warm lighting, greenery… this wedding reception spoke to my soul. I threw in some extra pics just so you could see what I’m going on about haha. Enjoy!

Side note: This was an at-home trial run I did on a winter woodland birthday party. I’m a perfectionist so I always like to see what it’s going to look like before I do to the event. Needless to say I had a lot more time to perfect it during this trial…I’d say about 2 hours. I had an hour to set up the actual day…so I didn’t get to execute it quite to this level…. But it still turned out lovely! More time is always better for your end result.
