🚨 24 INCH TAPE-IN EXTENSIONS TRANSFORMATION!!

We used 4 packs of tape-ins in 2 different colors.
One solid medium/dark chocolate brown
One caramel highlight/brown lowlight
She doesn't have highlights in her natural hair currently, so tape-ins that had the caramel highlight look were installed beneath with the medium/dark brown on top.

Do you highlight first, then do grey coverage, or do both at once?

My clients hair is fine, and her highlights will process quickly. We also need to do a root/grey coverage, which sits for at least 30min or more. I DO NOT want her highlights sitting that long.

I opted to do her highlights first, then go in with a color melt using permanent color blending into her toner.

The birds eye view shows you how I sectioned the top while pivoting toward the partline.

For the side sections, I did 3 foils only, diagonal weaves. 3rd foil is pivoted towards a horozontal direction.

The crown section has 1 wide weave & teased foil.

The result: seamless root and highlights ❤️

Roots: joico 6N 6NA 15vol
Tone: shades eq 9AG 7AG 8NA

-Chunky Weave and tease
- 2 diagonal foils on each side (4 total), blend Lightener on a diagonal
- 2 horozontal foils above the diagonals, blend straight up

SIDES: 3-4 FOILS ON EACH SIDE
-Chunky Weave and tease
-diagonal back direction, staying off hairline for lived-in look
-leave top corner section for dimension
-blend on upward diagonal

TOP: 4-8 FOILS OFF NATURAL PART
-Slightly finer Weave and tease
-pivot from diagonal to slightly horozontal as you.move toward the natural part leaving a veil of hair over the last foil
-blend upward on a diagonal
