Thanks to our mom for getting us these egg flats! They hold 2 1/2 dozen eggs each and make it so much easier to organize.
Check out yesterday & todays fresh eggs.
Want hard boiled eggs? Let us know and we’ll hold a dozen back for you. They normally boil better after a week.

Just some pictures from the homestead.
Our little sister KoJu has been so crucial in helping raise the flock. We are so grateful for her.
Our friends that have become family helped us with building our coop and run. We are so grateful to have them.
Even our son Darius came out and tried to do some manual labor. If nothing else, he was cute and he gets that from me 🥰.

The flock is so friendly and sweet. This is how they greet anyone who comes to the fence. They are a mosey bunch
I got distracted when I went looking for Doja.
We also have Black Australorps (solid black) and Black S*x Links (black with gold necklace).
Lafayette & Laurens are Black Breasted Red Phoenixes

Cole Miller is the head rooster in charge of his entire flock. Lafayette & Lauren’s work together with him to keep the flock safe.
John Thomson is a hormonal teenager so he has ladies on his mind, but they are trying to teach him.
