📅 **Honoring Juneteenth - Heart of GA Hospice Closure Announcement** 🌟

Dear Heart of GA Hospice Community,

In observance of Juneteenth, we will be closed on June 19th to honor this significant day in American history. Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, marks the anniversary of the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. On this day in 1865, Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced that the Civil War had ended and all enslaved people were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

Juneteenth is a time for reflection, education, and celebration. It reminds us of the resilience and strength of African American communities and serves as an opportunity to recognize the ongoing journey towards equality and justice. As we commemorate this important day, let us honor the contributions and sacrifices of those who came before us and renew our commitment to fostering a more inclusive and just society.

We encourage everyone to take this day to learn more about Juneteenth, participate in local events, and support Black-owned businesses and organizations.

Today, Heart of Georgia Hospice and Three Rivers Home Health Services - Warner Robins had the pleasure of presenting vital information at the Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource Center! We're grateful for the opportunity to share valuable insights about Hospice and Home Health resources with the community. A big thank you to Joseph Richardson and his company for sponsoring a delicious Chick-fil-A lunch during our session! We're excited to announce that we'll be offering this free educational resource on the second Tuesday of every other month. Our next presentation is on August 13th! Join us and register by contacting the VECTR center!

We are auctioning off these amazing painting that were completed by high school students from Warner Robins High School, Veterans High School, Northside High School and The Westfield School!
