Parents,

If you are moving over the summer and will still be in the Houston County School District, we encourage you to make changes with Central Registration in June. Once you've moved, go online to www.hcbe.net/centralregistration. There, you will find the Change of Address form and the documentation needed to make the change. You don't want to wait until the last minute, as Central Registration gets very busy in July.

Also, if you are on an Affidavit of Residency or Kinship Caregiver Affidavit, you must renew those before school starts on July 31 to ensure your child will have a line of enrollment for the 24-25 school year.

For questions and contact information, please visit www.hcbe.net/centralregistration.

With 17 school days left in the year, testing season is here! Below are some tips for parents and students to help prepare for exams.

💻 Laptops: Students need to bring their Chromebook to school every day fully charged. Make sure to charge your device each night before testing.

😴 Rest: A good night’s sleep each night before testing is vital.

🍏 Breakfast: Eat a good meal at home or take advantage meals at school.

💌 Encouragement: Parents, pump your kids up by beginning their day with an encouraging word or note. Let your child you know believe in them.

🧭 Be on Time: Make sure to arrive to school on time or early to ensure your child is ready.

Thank you to all of our parents, teachers and students who have worked hard all year. We are confident that our students are ready and will perform well!
