Hey there!! Time for me to say hello, once again, to all my wonderful followers 👋🏼!!

My name is Laura and I have owned ISL hair studio since 2006! I then purchased the salon I had been renting at in 2017. From there I created Salon Brielle. I am so proud of our salon and team that has truly become my happy place. If you haven’t yet please give my salon page a follow .

I have been doing hair since 1997 Yes, that’ll be !26! years come January. (I know I know, I keep telling people this week how long I have been doing hair and I just can’t believe it either) I am that weird person that loves my job and is constantly looking for ways to grow in my career. My fave services to do are beaded row extensions using the method, hand painted balayage, and lived in color. I have been working my tail off this year in order to achieve my masters in IBE and can not wait to earn this title!

My guest has the most beautiful natural hair, we just added some brighter pops for dimensions and of course some golden blond to brighten her money piece for the summer.

✨As of Monday Feb 28th 2022 the Illinois state mask mandate has been lifted

✨I will continue to follow the rules and since I am fully vaccinated and boosted I will not be wearing a mask

✨If for whatever reason you are uncomfortable and would like me to wear a mask I will definitely put one on, no questions asked, please just ask me to do so

✨Regardless of what the rules are the most important thing to me is that you feel comfortable and confident to come into our salon

Ok guys here’s that color correction I promised. Swipe to see the full photos from her befores and afters.

My client had gotten her balayage done at another salon. And gone back for a correction before she contacted me. Her hair was compromised but needed to be lifted more and definitely needed some contrast back.

We had a thorough consult where I told her this would take some time in order to keep the integrity of her hair. And she agreed 🎉. We agreed to take it slow adding low lights, highlights shadows, and glosses with using as much olaplex as I could.

Her hair looked great after 2 applications. But this great after 3.

I know I haven’t posted much lately, it’s because I am truly lucky to be so busy. But, I’m still here!! And whipping out my technique. It gives the most beautiful natural grow out with contrast and dimension that can’t be beat.

She wanted to go lighter with low maintenance. So we made her this beautiful soft caramel with a shadow for easy grow out ☑️☑️
