Residential Resales just got easier in Bristol Township! Beginning tomorrow, January 4, 2022, Bristol Township will no longer require any inspections or certifications for residential resales. A Residential Resale Change of Occupancy Permit will be required, so that we can update our database and make sure all existing permits have been closed out prior to sale of home. All certifications including chimney, heater and electrical are no longer necessary, nor is a resale use and occupancy permit. The sewer lateral inspection is still required for all resales in the Croydon Wastewater Treatment Plant Service Area. The Residential Resale Change of Occupancy Permit Application will be available by the end of the business day tomorrow (1/4/2022).
