Even 'Hopper' wants to Come Home to Lindy!

On February 9th, residents of Stone Creek Point were in for a surprise when they spotted a kangaroo hopping around the pool area! Our local heroes from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Agriculture Unit sprang into action to ensure, 'Hopper' the roo, didn't make a splashy escape!

Fiesta Schoolyards is making recess great again!

This amazing nonprofit is transforming schoolyards in Philadelphia into dynamic play areas, giving kids the chance to make new memories and have fun. They've already completed 25% of their goal of renovating 100 schoolyards in 10 years.

We had a blast this past weekend at the Park at Westminster resident pool party!

A big thank you to all our wonderful residents who joined us for a day of fun, laughter, and community. From the splashing in the pool to the shared smiles, it was a day to remember.

Kudos to the residents of Park at Westminster and Warrington Crossings for supporting our local Warminster Pioneers Youth Spring Football team. Lindy Community Center Breaks Ground at Lion’s Park in Warrington. Located on the former site of Twin Oaks Day Camp in Warrington, Lions Pride Park features Lindy Communities Kids Mountain and the Toll Brothers Grove, completed in 2020, as well as a wetland habitat which will be completed later this year.

Last month, Fiesta Schoolyards hosted a dedication event at John Hancock School to celebrate the new play amenities and community gathering area. There was food, music, speeches, and student entertainment. Thank you to Lindy residents for donating $5,166 to Fiesta Schoolyards, matched by the Lindy Foundation to $10,332, and making our impact possible!

Together, residents of Lindy Communities have donated a total of $4,660, matched by the Lindy Foundation to $9,320, to support Fiesta Schoolyards and its mission to transform empty schoolyards into dynamic playing and learning spaces. Thank you to the over 800 residents at Lindy apartment communities who have collectively donated $4,380 in support of Fiesta Schoolyards! The number is matched by the Lindy Foundation to generate $8,760 toward renovating 100 schoolyards in 10 years. Fiesta Schoolyards is an initiative of the Lindy Foundation that’s dedicated to transforming barren, empty schoolyards into colorful and fun playing and learning spaces for students. At no cost to the schools at all!

In July 2022, residents of Lindy Communities generously donated $118 to Fiesta Schoolyards, and the amount was doubled by the Lindy Foundation to $236. So far, Lindy residents have generously donated $4,123 to Fiesta Schoolyards, doubled by the Lindy Foundation to $8,246!

Last week Lindy Communities was a sponsor of the Tamanend Middle School in Warrington has been supporting the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund (KADMF). KADMF provides assistance for needs not covered by insurance to families who are caring for seriously ill, disabled or severely injured children in the tri-state area. Although they are often invisible to all but the family, the non-medical side effects of serious childhood illness can be devastating. The pandemic has created even more challenges for these families, and the financial assistance from KADMF can help ease these burdens.
