just want to check in and see how everyone is doing- post a pic of your kiddos! -
missing my kiddos today- hung up my handprints! xoxo
Parents, families, friends, team member and many children I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, nurturing and watching grow over the last 24 years, O have such mixed emotions today, - I thought I would be happy when this day finally came! The day I hand TK to someone new to continue what we’ve started , to make Tk better than I could! what I find myself feeling is lucky, sad, empty, forlorn, and yes I will get to hopeful and excited it just may take a few days. 24 years ! from Kathy Hannon Kelly and I with 6 kids - william - jake - danny - cassandra- peter and of course KB to 3 expansions - thousands of kids- 4 classrooms 3 school age groups- i think last count we were on our 13 th annual halloween party , many Christmas party’s graduations, family carnivals and cool outs . the memories I can’t list them all. I have made life long friends through this business, I’ve raised all three of my children here, been through so many losses- sometimes work is wat kept me going. I’m grateful for all the parents who trusted me to be a caregiver to your child. to “my girls” who came to work every day and took good care of the children we were lucky enough to be trusted with especially the last 2 years through all this covid bs- parent not getting upset when we said we have to close a classroom - you r child can’t come back for 5, 7,10, 14 days ! So on Friday I said good bye - I was touched by the beautiful flowers and gifts and card I received. I wish it had been summer and we could have had one last family cookout! Sadly the joy i had running a school age program has ended and will not be continuing in my absence - the. dance clubs, sports clubs, cooking and art clubs, harry potter clubs, plAys, haunted gyms, field trips. School age has been the most hard hit and affected by covid- we couldn’t do “totally Kids “ the way we loved to. But this week we did our best : we had ice cream and cake , we played , we cried and we had 1 last Friday fun day dance party ! thank you all for the memories and love! Miss Michelle will miss you all! Ps please tag yourself if i’ve ever worked with you as a teacher or. coworker, if I’ve had your children in my care! ( i’m hVing tech problems )
