The cat is out of the bag 🐱 😭 Today is my last day at and what a bittersweet day it is.
I have worked at studio b for almost 9 years. N I N E years!! And can seriously say I have loved every minute of it. I love my salon peeps who seriously feel like family and the man who started it all 💁‍♀️ .
I never pictured myself leaving Stuudz B, but couldn’t pass up this new opportunity closer to home. I will be relocating to a salon suite on the 3rd floor of in Foxboro, MA. I’m super excited to start this new chapter and can’t wait to see you all there ❤️ .
I want to thank my Studio B family for the best 9 years! I have learned so much from everyone and I love you all so much!!! I already scheduled an appt for a haircut 😂 so you really can’t get rid of me hehe ❤️ .
I also want to say how appreciative I am of all my clients with all your kind words and encouragement on this new chapter in my life! Getting married & moving salon life.. who do I think I am?! ❤️❤️

Remember when I was doing “Tutorial Tuesday”? And only did it for one week... hahah Y A H. I had so many good things to talk to you guys about and teach you, then got back to work and totally forgot A L L about that 🤦🏼‍♀️ So.. one day I’ll get back there guys. Maybe not every week 😅, I think we can all agree that was too much for me in the beginning 😂.

I’ve been a little MIA with insta lately because ya know.. life 👏🏼 and planning a covid wedding 😅 .
This is my last week of work before taking time off for my wedding and then I’ll be a little EXTRA MIA 😆 I’m going to try to be totally present during my 🍯-🌙 and won’t be responding to messages or emails until after 9/14, so get them all in before the 4th! 😜 .

I never took an in between picture which I’m kicking myself in the butt for! She had previously lightened ends that I had to “fill” with a redish /orange tone (obviously I told her “don’t freak out” 😂), rinsed + applied Demi over her whole head: 6N & 5N mixture 👩‍🔬 and taaa daaaa 🤩

Annnnnnnnd here’s the wet after + very grown out before 🤪 .
Don’t mean to toot my own horn here.. but look at that perfection 😇😍 I love doing this technique on clients who either love to be very blonde or that don’t come in as often. This makes it easier for me to find what wasn’t highlighted for the next appt so i can blonde it 🆙 The ends always stay blonde because I try not to miss any grown out sections 🤩 (you can see in her before that all the ends are blonde.. extremely grown out, but blonde 😆)

The last appt before quarantine we brightened up her ends big time. Yesterday we decided to add back in some dimension + bring up her balayage 🤩 .
I did a new, but also “old” technique on her that I’m really excited about! .. Today on my current client, I’m also using a new technique I just made up because I think it’ll work out really well! You can find this boss babe on her fitness page .. now sporting (see what I did there) her new locks 🤩 .
Deepened her base w/ Demi: 5N + 6N. I didn’t want to make it too dark where she would have any line of demarcation... even though the Demi fades over time, I didn’t wanna chance it, ya dig? We added some dimensional rooty highlights + toned with 7N a capful of 6OR + 6R for these rich hues 👏🏼 whatever was left out of the foils, I also darkened with her base color. TA DAAAAA 😻.

I’m serious when I say my clients are getting much better at pictures than I am. mid haircut said “oh this is a good angle of the cut!” Heck YES it is girl 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Clean cut + blonde make the perfect pair 🥰 .

Okay, so you love to read + love reading my posts + want to know what the process was for this beautiful head of hair?! Come.. follow me! 🤣...
Oh look, here we are! 🙃 We did the works on yesterday🦾 And we’re both very surprised how long it didn’ttt take this time 😆(the application time at least).
• Full highlight with brushed back blonde (instead of going right to the root, I applied the lightener and then brushed the color up for a more blended highlight) I knew we were going to root smudge at the end, when it was time to tone, so this helped blur the line even more 🤘🏼.
•Once I applied all the foils, I went back in and did a wet balayage ➡️ By this time the back foils were already processed so I rinsed the back and balayaged over her wet hair to brighten her ends. Then when the front was processed, I rinsed those + in the sink, wet balayaged the front ends 💯.
•Added in a foot smudge & tone to compete the look 👱🏼‍♀️💕.

5 hours to babylight this beaut yesterday and ohhhh how I missed you ❤️❤️❤️ and a little snip, snippity-do for her too 🤩🙌🏼👏🏼 I was SOOOO excited she wanted to bob it! I think I’ve been dreaming of this day 😂 even though I do love her long hair, I just knew she would look like a dream ☁️ with this new haircut 💜 .

I can only take pictures of wet hair at the moment 😆 Brightened up this gorgeous head of hair last night w/ a full balayage + babylights around the hairline 💁‍♀️ We did teasy-lights last time and loved the way it grew out, so we kept the blend & just created more of a pop 💥
