Bell's palsy is a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face. The weakness tends to be short term and improve with time.
However, if you experience any of these symptoms you should seek medical help right away because you may be having a stroke. Bell's palsy is a diagnosis of exclusion, and all other possible causations should be ruled out before this diagnosis is considered.

In most cases, these conditions are temporary, and will return to normal after delivery.
