Putting myself out there again.. Since I moved to DC, there’s just been this part of me that lost its fire to work as much as I did in California and Denver

Met this amazing man, Edward Cunningham on an Uber ride, part one of a dynamic duo that any entrepreneurial couple would aspire to be like. The Support, recognizing the ebs and flow of life and business and the support system they hold for eachother. His wife Kat was absolutely amazing and such a pleasure to meet.

There was just that energy changes and it’s nice to have such outwardly serving people so close to home.

I have to tout Edward’s book because its principal concept is something that is so important. Reciprocity, how to get the most out of relationships without losing your mind.

It’s often said you’re only one meeting away from the next big thing. 

This book reminded me how to not live in pain. It is a great reminder on how important living in the moment is, and how powerful our minds really are

Insights from "The Power of Now":

1. The book points out that real happiness and peace are found right now, in this moment—not by dwelling on the past or fretting about the future.

2. We're reminded that we are more than our thoughts and emotions; we're the observer of these experiences. The book nudges us to watch our thoughts and emotions without getting caught up in them.

3. Our ego, which is made up of our thoughts, beliefs, and self-identities, is often the root of our troubles. Letting go of ego can lead us to true peace.

4. Eckhart Tolle discusses the "pain-body," a collection of old emotional hurts that can affect how we feel today. He offers ways to heal and move past this stored pain.

5. Accepting what the present brings—even if it's tough—is key to inner peace. It's about embracing life as it comes, rather than fighting against it.

6. True connection with others happens when we are fully present and mindful in our interactions.
