Esme Symes-Smith, author of their beloved Sir Callie series stopped by our shop yesterday! Now we have signed copies of all 3 of their books plus some very cool tasseled bookmarks featuring the main characters of their series!
Sir Callie and the Witch’s War is their most recent release! A perfect q***r fantasy, middle grade book for all ages with themes of overcoming fears, found family and good overcoming evil.

The Small Press Expo is this weekend! SPX is the premier event for indie comics, cartooning, and graphic novs! AND it’s happening right here in the DMV at the Bethesda North Marriott! Every year SPX features so many q***r artists and authors and this Check Please author Ngozi Ukaku and On A Sunbeam author Tillie Walden will be featured!

So incredibly excited to announce one of our upcoming events with the author of MONSTRILIO, one of Little District’s MOST SOLD BOOKS ever! Gerardo Sámano Córdova will join us at on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7pm.
Monstrilio is a hauntingly beautiful novel about a mother’s grief, a beautiful family, and what it means to be human. weird, surprising, profound and thoughtful! Our bookseller Michela claims it as their favorite book (and even has a custom tattoo of Monstrilio- see the last slide) and read it with our horror book club a few months back.
