I FIRST MADE THIS FOR MY MOM, AND NOW IT'S FOR ALL THE WOMEN IN THE WORLD!

🍂 I don't know if my parents were aware I'd be the black sheep in the family. Both mom and dad were university professors of science, and all I ever wanted to do was to be a dancer. However, from the first time my mother held my hand as we walked to my first dance class (I was 6), I could feel what her hand was trying to tell me.
🍂 Whatever I want in life, I better work hard for it! And that she was going to give me all the support I needed in every step of the way.
🍂 Honoring our secret agreement, we both worked hard for about 20 years. As I was spending 8 hours dancing, she would spend 16 hours in front of the computer. Doing research and creating presentations for students, grading their papers and preparing for the following day lectures. To this day, she works late in the evenings, day in day out. And she loves it! But after 20 years of passionate work, I noticed it impacted the way she felt physically and energetically.
🍂 Now, my mom is the furthest thing from an exercise nut you can think of! She often forgets to eat as well, and her biggest physical is basically making her coffee that is supposed to get her through a few more hours of work.

▪️ All that sitting contributed to pain in her lower back and stiffness in her spine.
▪️ Stiffness in her neck due to the long hours of working in front of a screen.
▪️ She felt lethargic and energetically drained. She described it as being sleepy and not willing to move around much.
▪️ As I saw it, her whole body felt stiff, she had pain in her joints and she just felt off.

Here is what I did about it!💁‍♀️

🍂 By now, I already worked as a contemporary dancer and routinely did gentle prehab sessions for different parts of my body. Yes, long hours of classes and practicing for shows tend to take quite the toll on your body, but they also teach you quite a bit about how to keep it healthy!
🍂 So every time I'd come home after practice, I'd do my short sessions in the living room where my mom was working after her regular hours.
🍂 They only took 10-15 minutes and my mom would often do them with me. Nothing hard, nothing extreme or complicated. We would simply take gentle care of different body-parts on different days of the week. She started to really enjoy our little sessions. She viewed them as a small relaxing break after which she returned to her work.
🍂 Honestly, I didn't think much of them at first, but the actual effect they had on my mom soon had me really excited!

☀️ The stiffness in her body disappeared first, then so did the pain in her back and joints. She got really happy and excited about this as well.

☀️ In a short while, my dad and I noticed that spring in her step when leaving for work in the morning returned, and we loved it! She was happier, became more social and talkative again and the vibrant smile on her face was becoming more and more common.

☀️ Shortly after, she told a couple of her colleagues and relatives about how she felt and asked me if I could film my little sessions, so that she could share them. I did, and as it turned out they were all really happy with the results. It was this very crew, my mom's little band of ladies that persuaded me to share them with the women of the world.

💁‍♀️ Well, here they are! A little lighting, a better mic so you can hear me better, and the same old sessions that brought the smile back on my mom's face. Detailed, relaxing and yet energizing, and covering the whole body head to toe. The best thing about them is that you can do them at home, at work or anywhere else in just 10-15 minutes. With lengthier sessions for those with a little more time to spend.
