Mom 👩🏻

It’s been unreal losing my mom.
It’s been unreal living with the grief of seeing her in pain until her last breath.

Life is precious. & I know she’s pain free now 🕊️

She was the silliest, funniest, goofy goober of a Mom 👩🏻 and I miss her everyday.
Best smoking partner, biggest cheerleader 📣 ,best fried chicken and burgers! Arepas from my mom was my bday breakfast every year! Smartest woman- she started a construction company for Pete’s sake! She didn’t take no s**t! I remember her putting her foot down when s**t wasn’t feeling right.

She taught me a lot, there were times we bumped heads and clashed. But there was always Love❤️ on the other side of it.

We make connections and relationships and have memories and then like THAT! they just exist in your memory. No longer in this “world” 🌎.

I have had a weird relationship with death, and reading The Emerald Tablets (well the interpretation) gives me peace ☮️ that we’re never truly done & dead. It’s like, I’m not afraid of death but now that I’ve seen it and said hello, it was a strange encounter, bittersweet in fact.

The saddest moment of my whole life, guaranteed.

I told her as she was still low key lucid, to “talk to me in numbers.” The next day I kissed her slow breathed body and heard a whisper “it’s 12:44” . No one was awake, we were sleeping on the chairs next to her for 4 days and I just woke up to check on her. That whisper wasn’t from her mouth, but I feel it was her spirit that gave me the msg.
