The first step is to get started ASAP on improving your mom body. Seriously. Don’t wait any longer.

One mom told me yesterday how hard it is to actually prioritize herself enough to even workout or take care of her health.

That type of talk definitely crushes me. Because if your body breaks down and you have to take time off work because your health has deteriorated or been compromised, then you’re FORCED to prioritize your health and get better.

Hey FIT MotherLovers! This month we are taking a deep dive into how you can increase your energy.

I saw a stat the other day about how the MAJORITY of people say they feel tired at least 3 days a week 



 and that three-quarters of people say that “not having enough energy” gets in the way of their productivity. Add in a kid, or two, or more
 and your energy levels are just shot!

And you can bet if their productivity suffers, so does their overall quality of life. Now, on to YOU.

As a busy parent, I mean, it’s not just about having energy for your job, but also for your family, especially your kids. It’s also about enjoying your time off!

I have a LOT of info coming your way on this topic, but today I am going to focus on the VERY FIRST THING you have to do in order to turn your energy situation around.

As a reminder, my name is Everett Shipmon, and I help busy mommies flatten their stomachs, tighten their loose tummy muscles, and improve their new mom bodies after birth.

Now, here’s the crazy thing about NOT having enough energy.

It can feel like TOO MUCH WORK to actually DO something about it.

Sound relatable?

On days when you’re tired (literally EVERYDAY as a parent), the last thing you want to do is get up off the couch and take action.

Especially for yourself.

But the fact is
 you have to decide to TAKE CONTROL and do SOMETHING to turn your energy levels around.

You have to take action.

It doesn’t have to be a huge action 
 just something that can give you a spark of energy to help you jumpstart your battery.

And it’s also possible to actually ENJOY the process.

In fact, if it’s something you like doing, it probably will work even better.

So 
 here’s one of my FAVORITE ways I recommend you get a quick hit of energy during the day. It’s to GO OUTSIDE for a few minutes. And heck, bring the kid.

It works every time.

First, getting some fresh air is a proven energy booster. Not only does getting into nature help you physically, but it also can give you a little mental reset – the change of scenery can give you a new perspective.

You’re almost guaranteed to feel refreshed.

I told you it was simple 🙂

We can all get up when we’re tired and get some fresh air, right?

But the thing is, you actually have to get up and DO it. So it does start with a DECISION.

You owe it to yourself to live your most energetic life
 and that starts with CHOOSING to make that happen! Your kids will always love you, yes. But does that mean you want to be dragged around, hopelessly exhausted at every turn? Noooo!

So many moms get sucked into the extreme.

Either they eat everything and anything they want.

Or they deprive themselves so much, they hate fitness and everything to it.

But what about the middle line?

What about eating with a strategy in mind?

There IS a way to eat yourself into a body you actually want.

You’re a mom and you’ve been there before.

You’ve heard all the horror stories of post pregnancy bodies.

And right now, you’re feeling like your body is broken.

Ladies, did you know
?

There IS a way to tighten your loose tummy muscles after children.

Most programs won’t show you the core training techniques I’ve developed over the years to do just that.

In short, it’s possible.

Most mothers and moms-to-be make the mistake of thinking it’s impossible. They feel like their body is broken after birth.

If this is you, you are discouraged from trying anymore because your body doesn’t feel the same anymore. It doesn’t feel like “you.”

So you feel broken.

But there’s a way to do it. Let me show you how.

1. Train your abs from all 4 perspectives. It’s really five. But four is what we focus on. It’s super effective. I teach this in my Four Core Tonic Method.

2. Train your abs every day. This doesn’t mean a full blown workout every day. It could mean engaging your abs for 1 min while standing on one leg cooking or reading. But Training your abs everyday gets you results waaay faster.

3. Focus on quality. I know you wanna do 100 crunches or a 3-minute plank. But don’t. Not if your form isn’t nailed down. Proper form will accelerate your results more than a higher number of lower quality reps.

If not, and it’s because you feel you can’t work out because your pregnant, or have a full plate of parenting responsibilities, you’re missing out.

An amazing workout will do so much for you, your baby, and your family.

Even if you don’t have children at the moment, working out will prime your body to be in even healthier and stronger position to carry a baby to full term.

If you know me well, you know I LOVE to watch airplanes. For some reason, they fascinate me greatly. Always have.

I got to watch a lot of planes ✈ over my birthday weekend.

Interesting how to get a plane to lift.

To get a plane to lift, it must charge full speed into the very element that is against it and use it to fly.

how can you use what seems to be against you and harness the energy for positive in your life?

Do you hate burpees?

Do you love to run?

Do what works for you.

You can get results with any exercise.

It’s all about your approach and more about everything else you’re doing.

So get something simple.

Stick with it.

Thinking you can’t really workout because you’re pregnant or trying to be?

You’re wrong.

The best thing you can do for your body is optimize your movement and bodily systems.

If you’re waiting for motivation to get started, you’ll most likely never start.

It’s why I use other means and methods to hijack my motivation. When you add a few other means to push you to workout, you’re more likely to do it, even if you don’t feel like it.

I had a mom say she wanted to get back to better health but because she been away so long, she didn’t think it could happen.

But there’s a start point for everybody. Even YOU.

Don’t worry about where you start. Just be sure to keep moving once you do start.

Women lift weights too!

And no, it doesn’t make you bulky. Food does. Eating a bunch combined with heavy heavy lifts can make you add size.

But ultimately, you would need a TON of food and a TON of testosterone to start getting bulky. Bulk doesn’t come from just lifting alone.
