Welcome to Free Mom Hugs Washington DC! This is the official state chapter of the national Free Mom Hugs non-profit organization.

To volunteer with us, click the “Like” button to follow our page, and then the “Sign Up” button to complete the Free Mom Hugs Volunteer Registry and Waiver. Once you’ve done that, you are ready to go! Statewide events that we are planning to attend will be found on our Events page, along with sign up information in the event description.

We have regional groups that will help you connect with others and keep up with local events. Go to the GROUPS page, find the one that best fits where you are and answer the required questions. You will not be approved without answering the membership questions. These groups are not just for Free Mom Hugs volunteers! We want our groups to be safe spaces for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies.

Please review our Guidelines for Participation (attached to this post) before participating in events or joining our private groups.
