Blankets4Vets is a grateful recipient of grant funds from Overwatch Alliance.
Blankets4Vets is a non-profit initiative under Geo-Spectrum Development 501(c)(3), with a mission to provide free weighted blankets to Military Veterans throughout the country to combat some of the devastating effects resulting from their service. Blankets4Vets is a Strategic Program under the Veterans Support Initiative at Geo-Spectrum Community Development.

This year for Veterans Day, Blankets4Vets donated blanket care packages to DC VA Medical Center for their Veterans Day dinner. As many of you know, the DC VA Medical Center holds a very special place in our hearts and we are always so happy to partner with them.

This Memorial Day and everyday, we remember and honor all of the heroes who served.
On June 18, 2022, Blankets4Vets participated in a Veterans Resource Day at VFW Post 9619 in Suitland, MD. The Blankets4Vets team was delighted to meet with Veterans and provide weighted blankets as well as mental health kits.
Last week Blankets4Vets was honored to partner with Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Easterseals and participate in a panel discussion with Team Unbroken. We were so inspired by Team Unbroken, and were delighted to be able to provide free weighted blankets to the clinic.

On July 18, 2021, Blankets4Vets provided blankets to the M.R. Sarge Wareheim Chapter #33 of Disabled American Veterans. Blankets were provided to the Chapter Service Officer who will distribute them to chapter members.
Blankets4Vets was honored to participate in Infinity Speaks’ 2021 Veterans Resource Day, held on July 17, 2021 at VFW Post 9619 in Suitland, Maryland. Veterans were able to obtain claims assistance, mental health support, pain management, financial literacy, and more during this wonderful event.

Blankets4Vets was delighted to partner with ChiliSleep to provide their chiliBLANKETs to Veterans in honor of Memorial Day.
Blankets4Vets was thrilled to donate 30 bags for the DC VA Medical Center's upcoming May Baby Shower. The bags were filled with baby blankets and other baby supplies for the expectant mothers.
Blankets4Vets was delighted to provide weighted blankets to the Hampton VA Men's PTSD Coping Group.
We are so grateful to be able to provide continued blanket donations benefitting our Veterans, to organizations like MCVET. Blankets4Vets engaged in two drop-off distributions and donated a total of 110 blankets in early February.
We were so happy to be able to donate blankets to the Maryland Center for Veterans Education and Training (MCVET). We look forward to donating as many blankets as possible to this amazing organization.
We are so pleased that we were able to provide support to our Veterans and donate to the DC VA Medical Center's Winterhaven "Lite" event!
