Strapped for more housing, Alexandria looks to rework zoning rules The Northern Virginia city's "Zoning for Housing/Housing for All" plan looks to create more affordable housing, and more housing overall, and address racial inequities.
In a short 4-day period, our students and and faculty raised $510 for students who will be attending the National Planning Conference in Philadelphia next month!
This has made a significant difference for our students ability to excel their professional development in our career field.

They discuss skills planners can add to their equity toolkits to promote meaningful change for minority communities. Lakeshia shares her personal journey as a woman of color in the field of urban planning, providing insights on finding joy, overcoming barriers, and using your voice.
