በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ሕጋዊ ሥርዓትን ያልተከተሉ የጅምላ እስሮች ቀጥለዋል - ኢሰመጉ

በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ሕጋዊ ሥርዓትን ያልተከተሉ እና አንዳንዶቹም አስገድዶ የመሰወር ባህርይ ያላቸው የጅምላ እስሮች መፈፀም መቀጠላቸውን የኢትዮጵያ ሰብዓዊ መብቶች ጉባኤ (ኢሰመጉ) አስታወቀ።

የሰብዓዊ መብት ተቋሙ ትናንት ቅዳሜ መስከረም 12/ 2016 ዓ.ም ባወጣው መግለጫ፣ በአማራ ክልል የተፈጠረውን ግጭት ተከትሎ የአስቸኳይ ጊዜ አዋጅ ከታወጀ በኋላ ጋዜጠኞችንና ያለመከሰስ መብት ያላቸውን የምክር ቤት አባላት ጨምሮ መጠነ ሰፊ የጅምላ እስሮች መፈፀማቸውን አስታውሶ፣ የሚመለከታቸው አካላት እነዚህን ከሕግ አግባብ ውጭ የተፈፀሙ እስሮች ለማስቆም እርምጃ ባለመውሰዳቸው አሁንም የጅምላ እስሮች ቀጥለዋል ብሏል።

ኢሰመጉ ከታሳሪ ቤተሰቦች አገኘኋቸው ባላቸው መረጃዎች በመዲናዋ በርካታ ሰዎች ያለአግባብ እንደታሰሩ ገልጿል።

ከዚህም በተጨማሪ የሚታሰሩ ሰዎች በተገቢው ጊዜ ፍርድ ቤት እንደማይቀርቡ፣ የታሰሩ ሰዎች የት እንዳሉ በቤተሰቦቻቸው እንደማይታወቅ መረዳት እንደቻለ በሪፖርቱ አመልክቷል።
አንዳንድ የእስረኞች ማቆያዎች ለዚህ ተግባር ያልተቋቋሙ እና በንጽሕና ያልተያዙ በመሆናቸው ታሳሪዎች ለከፍተኛ የጤና ቀውስ መዳረጋቸውንም ኢሰመጉ በሪፖርቱ ገልጿል።
