The Physical & Mental Health Committee from the Federal City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc held a Mental Health and Mindfulness event for women at Reach Up in June! Participants practiced mindfulness techniques and made personalized bracelets with volunteers from the group.

Last week's Supreme Court ruling on Grants Pass v. Johnson will allow cities to criminalize homelessness by fining and arresting individuals sleeping in public spaces. This decision will severely impact our unhoused neighbors and have lasting, devastating consequences in DC and beyond.

🪟🛠️Brand new windows flood residents' rooms with natural light and new floors have been laid down on the first and second levels!
