Friends of Tenth Street Park is a volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization dedicated to Tenth Street Community Park in Downtown, Washington D.C.

10th Street Community Park is overseen by the Friends of 10th Street Park. The Friends group consists of neighboring residents and is a non-profit with 501(c)(3) status. The Friends group fundraises to make improvements to their park, advocate on behalf of the community for the park, help to maintain the site through clean-up and beautification efforts and are engaged in planning or site improveme

We had so much fun doing workouts at the park this past weekend! We hosted Athletic Conditioning on Saturday and Vinyasa Yoga on Sunday. Special thank you Equinox for sending two of your best instructors!

DID YOU KNOW? The idea for Tenth Street Community Park was built by DC from the desire of local residents to turn a vacant parcel of city owned property into a neighborhood park. The vacant lot has was used as a dumping ground for abandoned and stolen vehicles as well as illegal drug sales. Here is a before photo!
