Hi all. We miss everyone so so much and just want to tell everyone that we are here for you! Tell us your favorite memory if you would like. What do you miss about camp?

Camp Crucible is saddened and horrified by the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and many others who have been killed by the hands of police brutality and racism. We, as an organization and family do not stand for that. We stand with you, we believe that Black Lives Matter, and we stand in solidarity with all marginalized members of our community. None of us are free until all of us are free.

While it has always been our goal at Camp Crucible to welcome all who are interested in what it is that we do, we know we have work to do in creating a more welcoming and inclusive space. Our Board will be discussing concrete steps that we can take going forward, and we welcome input from our members as to how we can achieve that goal.

On Frazier's Celebration of Life:

Dear Crucible Friends and Family:

Over the past 20 plus years, our community in the DC metro area has had the privilege to experience a Crucible dungeon and a safe space to practice our kink. Whether at Tracks in the 1990s, BR Big Events in the 2000s, or the club itself in the 2010s, those spaces existed only because of Frazier. Since the announcement of his death, the Crucible Family has been humbled by the outpouring of support and the wonderful stories you all have shared.

Those of you who knew Frazier well would not be surprised by his insistence that we not mourn him, but rather have a party. To that end, we invite you to join us at the club he loved, The Crucible, for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 11 at 2:00 PM.

All members of our community are invited to join us for this Celebration.

The Crucible is located at 412 V Street NE in Washington, DC. Street parking is available, but limited, so we encourage you to carpool or take public transportation. A cash bar will be open and light refreshments will be served.
