We are so excited to announce our Self-Care Series!

October can bring a mix of emotions for our community. There are so many moments of joy and happiness but also moments of anxiety and exhaustion. There will be pink walks in solidarity, the necessary advocacy discussions, and crucial fundraising efforts. And there will be statistics. So many stats that are necessary to raise awareness and show the disparities that exist for African-American women living with breast cancer, yet daunting at the same time. The repetition of survival rates for our community can be triggering. You are leaders planning and participating in events across the country but YOU NEED REST. We want to make sure you have time to recover and decompress during and after October, both the good and the bad!

Thanks to our AMAZING partners below, we are able to provide 75 of you ladies across the country with spa and wellness day passes. Still adding to the list! Applications OPEN NOW! Link in our bio.

Thank you to our partners:

You might see so many group photos from Roadtrip To Recovery 2.0, but we heard so many individual stories. To the women we met along the way, those fighting for your lives and learning to live life again, WE THANK YOU MOST โค๏ธ. You taught us it gets better and sometimes it gets worse, but you persevere.

๐Ÿ’•We met mothers with their young daughters, some going through treatment right now and others reflecting back to that time of the unknown.
๐Ÿ’•We met families weighing their options after going through genetic testing.
๐Ÿ’•We met sister-in-laws now tied to something much more than marriage.
๐Ÿ’•We met neighbors turned family and co-support systems.
๐Ÿ’•We met community members who bonded through co-survivorship, 15 years strong together.
๐Ÿ’•We met women who are celebrating their cancerversaries from 1 year to 20 years and ready for their turn up celebrations!
๐Ÿ’•We met some of our prior program recipients for the first time and linked up with our day-one supporter survivors who have only shown love and given back to their community since our launch in 2020!

We thank all of these ladies pictured and all of the ladies we met from Idaho to DC! Forever grateful for this community!๐Ÿ’—
