This is Abrams Assisted Living's first holiday season! Our community is looking festive and we're ready to make this time of the year as special as our residents are. 🫶

Arts & Crafts is not only a fun activity for all ages, but it's also a welcome distraction from the routine of everyday life, which when combined with the satisfaction you get from completing a project can help to reduce stress and release those much-needed endorphins. 😄

Since September of this year, residents at Abrams Assisted Living have been enjoying their new home with a range of activities; from spa days, painting, and musical pillow to creating a Resident Council, enjoying the food, and welcoming new residents every week.

On September 15th, The Parks DC celebrated the groundbreaking and opening of some new projects; and Abrams Assisted Living was one of them!🥳

Our team was happy to join in the celebration and provide information about our wonderful community to all of the attendees. 🤩

The Parks at Walter Reed is excited to announce that the Farmers Market will be back this August! The market will run each Sunday, beginning August 7 through September 25 from 9 am to 1 pm.

🆕 This year, the market features new hours, a new location, and eight weeks of shopping! 🍅🍞🍇🧀🫑

🛍️ Please bring your bags for shopping. The market accepts and matches WIC, SNAP and SFMNP benefits.

📍 Location: The market will be at a new spot on the Arts Plaza, 6310 Cameron Drive NW, right next to the dog park.
