A Mourning Dove couple made a home 🪹 in one the planters in the butterfly garden 🦋🪴

They were very gracious in allowing me to oogle them constantly and tend to the plants on the other side of the garden. The mom and dad take turns staying in the nest 24/7.

I feel so honored that a space I curated for pollinators became a safe space for them as well. I will continue to oogle until the chicks leave the nest. I look forward to sharing space with more of nature’s creations 💚
