Spread the duties.
One person’s failure is everyone’s failure.
We all succeed together.

If you give your people a blank canvas for a project then give them a blank check to see what they can create.

We must fight as hard to prevent a war, as we do to win a war.

Empower your people and trust them to make the right decisions.

If your Airman approaches you with an idea. Consider saying yes despite the potential for failure.

If it fails, you knew it but you let them pursue something passionately. And the process unfolded to deny them, rather than you.

If it succeeds, they are empowered and have direct hand at doing something great.

Leaders shouldn’t micromanage.

Entrust your people and cheer them on.

It’s too easy to tell a subordinate “No”.
Be the type of leader that says “Yes”.
Let the next level up say “No”.

But it’s certain that each Airman will remember every leader, good or bad.
