It's a Real Live Grid: final week to view our "AAPI in DC" installation- a special collaboration w/the folk/anthropological Masters Sojin & Michelle & Co. ( ). Then join us this Sunday 10/3 5-8pm for a Closing Party! The installation is a collection of snapshots of AAPI lives from the neighborhoods & streets you traverse daily, dating back to 1950s (the Sun Restaurant actually dates back to 1929 - Reveler's Hour resides there now), reflections of a then bustling Chinatown, the 1960s Ambassador Theater in AdMo where Jimi Hendrix famously played...and ofc the FASHION (which inspired the installation🌀)❤️ *** And this AAPI woman wants to thank everyone who offered kind words and support these last few months. ✌🏼🙏🏼❤️A belated thank you to and NBC News4 for interviewing me re: my AAPI hate crime.
